This is an initiative set up by Highland Council’s “Highland Adapts” programme, Highland Environmental Forum, Think Health Think Nature and Highlands & Islands Climate Hub. It is asking individuals or organisations to pledge to “put climate, nature, and the benefits of green and blue health at the centre of decision-making and action, so that the natural environment and people have improved health, wellbeing, and resilience”.
The idea is to gather the pledges and report back on how people/organisations are implementing them, to build positive feedback and momentum on what is being done in Highland.
