The Scottish Food Commission was launched in March 2026 with the vision of “Making food work for all.” Their remit is to oversee the development and implementation of the Good Food Nation Act to drive transformational change of Scotland’s food system into a fairer, healthier and more sustainable system for all.
Chief Executive Jayne Jones and Chair Prof. Mary Brennan (pictured below) participated in the Feel Heal Real Food day in Broadford, talking to members of the public, stall holders and other participants to gain more understanding of how the food system works in Skye and the surrounding areas.
