Dun Flashadder Cottage Croft, near Edinbane, has won Best Food Producer in the BBC Food and Farming Awards 2026.
Jake Sayles, Aoife Gould and their daughter Corran produce Hebridean hogget and mangalitsa pork. Alongside livestock farming, they manage a mature fruit orchard producing blackcurrants and blueberries which are supplied to consumers, chefs and local gin distillers in Portree.
