Help for businesses and community buildings seeking to reduce energy costs

Business Energy Scotland is there to help businesses reduce energy bills, by providing free support as well as training and access to funding. For example, if you want to know whether a heat pump is right for your business, join BES’s webinar on 30th June, from 12:00-12:45 when the pros and cons will be explained.

Community buildings can also benefit from new funding from the Scottish Government’s Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES). The Let’s Do Net Zero Community Buildings Fund aims to support community organisations to reduce their buildings’ energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions. Grant funding is available for up to 80% of eligible costs, up to a maximum of £80,000. Many types of community buildings are eligible, including community cafés, community hubs, faith buildings, public halls, community halls and centres.
