The Highland Council has decided that ‘Given the strategic significance of the climate and ecological emergency on a Highland, national and international level, the Climate Change Working Group is to become a formal Council Climate Change Committee.’

We welcome this ‘upgrading’ of the Council’s body dealing with the Climate and Ecological Emergency, and look forward to seeing carbon reduction programmes and actions happening in our communities.
