Friends of the Earth Scotland’s investigation of corporate lobbying in Scotland has revealed that, since 2018, there were at least 790 meetings between the fossil fuel industry and members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs). During an average working week at the Scottish Parliament, fossil fuel companies were meeting over six MSPs, more than one every working day.
