Creative Climate Opportunities

What’s your climate action story? Are you working on an initiative that is reducing carbon emissions, protecting the environment or improving sustainability?  Publish your project for free with Carbon Copy and they will showcase it on their platform and through their media channels. You could help to inspire other groups, companies, and councils around the UK to follow your example – and speed up progress to carbon zero!

Film Access Scotland is inviting organisations to send a team member or a volunteer to their workshops, which will run from 6th September 2021. Participants will learn and teach filmmaking using mobile phones and can make a 90-second film about climate change to submit to a film challenge. There are a number of £200 bursaries to support access, and/or career and professional development which would not be paid by your organisation. Register here, where you can find the dates of the different workshops.
Do you need a few hundred pounds to run an event for, or before Climate Fringe Week, 18-26th September? Climate Fringe Week (organised by Stop Climate Chaos Scotland) wants to support underrepresented groups especially. It’s not a competitive process; applications will be reviewed as they come in and the process is easy. The huge variety of successful applications includes community football matches with circular economy themes, climate poetry event, climate cafes from tough perspectives and a children’s publication.
