Towards a circular economy on Skye

Claire Weaver, Business Development Manager for ILM, will join us on 8th June to tell us about the history and development of ILM, a charity and social enterprise, which aims to support sustainable employment while working towards a circular economy. ILM is the company that uplifts unwanted domestic electrical appliances from south Skye on the last Wednesday of the month.

ILM provides not only recycling and refurbishment for collected items, but they also have a retail shop for new and used appliances, provide Care & Repair and Handyperson services for local elderly and disabled residents, and they are about to set up a Spares and Repairs service.
