We all do our bit to recycle but, with the amount of plastic produced around the world set to double in the next 20 years, recycling alone isn’t the answer. Big companies are producing too much plastic in the first place and our recycling systems can’t cope.
Join the Big Plastic Count to count every piece of plastic you throw away between 16th and 24th May and help Greenpeace and Everyday Plastic uncover the true scale of the plastic problem. This evidence is needed to demand that the government, big brands and supermarkets get serious about reducing the amount of plastic at source.
