ReRoot regular meet-up: public diners

Discussion about public diners, with Nourish Scotland.

Public diners are state-supported restaurants, open to the public, which offer nutritious, price-capped menus. Such venues operated in post-war UK as ‘British Restaurants’. Could public diners work in Skye and Lochalsh. How could they end the need for food banks and stimulate local food growing while empowering communities and making healthy diets the norm?
