Re-Commoning the Coast in Skye (Uig)
The second of two collaborative community workshops hosted by CLIMAVORE to explore the impact of the climate emergency on the coastlines of Skye and Raasay, and help us consider new ways to support biodiversity, improve water quality, and grow our own food.
The initial workshops will explore and map community questions, knowledge and experience around coastal management, food sovereignty, supporting biodiversity and green job creation. This feeds into CLIMAVORE’s broader conversation with think-tank, Common Wealth, regarding how we can rethink the use of the foreshore within a community framework.
13th July, 7.00pm – 8.30pm – Uig Community Hall
