Deadline for comments on Space Hub Sutherland planning application for a rocket launch facility on 800 acres of the Flow Country on the A’Mhòine Peninsula.

The project risks increasing greenhouse gas emissions through release of stored carbon from the areas blanket bog and the rocket launches themselves, thereby raising questions around the compatibility of the project with the Highland Council’s, Scottish Government’s and UK government’s commitments on climate change.
