This webinar is organised by Global Justice Now to highlight an international fossil fuel treaty and to consider how we campaign for it in Scotland.

As the climate crisis escalates, there is an urgent need for an international treaty to plan the global phase out of fossil fuels in a fast and fair manner.Fossil fuel companies such as Shell and BP are reporting huge profits with new coal, oil and gas projects still being approved by the UK and other governments despite the climate emergency and a cost of living crisis.

A global coalition is calling for a Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty. Speakers from the Pacific Islands, Europe and California will  provide background on the coalition, but anyone can join in the discussion about persuading the Scottish Government to endorse the Treaty. Book your place here.
