Asking “how can we make a sustainable economy that works fairly for everyone?”

The first half will examine how the economy and industries will change to meet the challenges of climate change:

• Are standard economic theories up to scratch when faced with the challenges of climate change?
• The skills and education we’ll need for the jobs of the future
• How specific industries and sectors are adapting to climate change

The second half is on creating a more progressive economy :

• New policy ideas to improve working conditions
• The role of trade unions in climate justice campaignin
• Community ownership and cooperative business models
