Uigshader Living Forest Project: Peatland Restoration info day

Uigshader Living Forest Project (ULFP) is in the process of rehabilitating a former clear-felled Sitka Forest into a diverse native community woodland. This year we have a couple of projects, that SCA Newsletter readers might be interested in. First is our ongoing commitment of planting 30,000 trees, which we are in our final 10,000 this spring. Second is our test peatland restoration area, in which we are looking into low-cost, low-impact, DIY peatland restoration solutions. This could be of particular interest to croft holders wanting to make a positive change on their land.
