Grow Skye! Dùisg an talamh (‘waken the earth‘) aims to build on the increase in people growing their own food during the Covid19 lockdown, to increase Skye’s resilience and wellbeing in the face of the Covid and climate emergencies, and encourage sustainable local food supply systems across Skye.
The project follows the seasons, starting in summer 2020 by mapping Skye’s growers and gardeners. We want to celebrate and be inspired by the growing activity happening across the island and to support a network of growers and growing knowledge.
